About Us
Transforming Communities Through Peace and Ubuntu Philosophy
We believe in building a harmonious world by empowering communities through Ubuntu, shared humanity, and sustainable peace-building practices.
A Journey of Hope and Healing
CEEDECO was founded through the vision of Eric L. wa Mwenge, inspired by his father's support to nonviolent dialogues with the UBUNTU concept in the situation of conflicts and violence after a massacre of his brother Abas, his 6 kids and wife in a barbaric murder that was perpetrated by a Tutsi militia at Kabare on the 6th September 1996.
This tragic event became the catalyst for a movement dedicated to peace, reconciliation, and the transformative power of Ubuntu philosophy.
Ubuntu in Action
We are a peace-building organization dedicated to promoting Ubuntu Philosophy—celebrating shared humanity and collective progress. With a focus on addressing global challenges through community-led solutions, we work to inspire sustainable change and foster hope.
Our approach combines traditional wisdom with modern peace-building strategies, creating lasting impact in communities affected by conflict.
