CEEDECO Story
Our Story

A Journey of Hope and Healing

CEEDECO was founded through the vision of Eric L. wa Mwenge, inspired by his father's support to nonviolent dialogues with the UBUNTU concept in the situation of conflicts and violence after a massacre of his brother Abas, his 6 kids and wife in a barbaric murder that was perpetrated by a Tutsi militia at Kabare on the 6th September 1996.

This tragic event became the catalyst for a movement dedicated to peace, reconciliation, and the transformative power of Ubuntu philosophy.
